The only conundrum I have is no sound.. but it's my flaw, I did not read product description.I spill from that camera directly to Wowza Ma?tre d'h?tel. It facility splendid. Camera use about 1200-1600kbps with non-payment settings and good quality video. (don't estimate too much, video quality is just OK).Camera has IPv6 help.

We have over 60 AXIS cameras in our gift and they have a splendid depiction and the cameras are easy to setup. The software the is provided works pretty well also. The cameras are a modest high-priced once you hold a ticket for the software and the camera itself but in the end you have a pretty established logic. We've had very few cameras go bad over a 5 year cycle. If you have a 802.3af or at switch which provides power over Ethernet it's a heck of a lot easier to mount these babies everywhere you typically can't mount other cameras. By and large I would give these cameras a 5 out of 5 because of the reliability and functionality.

Summary:I purchased this camera to watch my bird feeder even as I'm at work. I have mine set to take an image each 60 seconds and upload the JPG image via FTP to my website so I can view it from anywhere I have an internet tie. I have the camera looking out a dialogue box in my income room so it's out of the nitty-gritty and can soothe see outside, but for the fee, it does the exact task I purchased it for. Also, when I go on trip, I turn the camera almost to watch my income room, and use it as a security camera that I can check anytime from my iPhone.Pros:It was easy to set up right out of the box. Just plug in a network cord, potential cables, follow the easy directions in the manual, and you're up and in succession.The image is sweet bracing and clear, and the camera has never failed me yet with reasonably a few months of use.Cons:Image it takes is only a 640x480 image, but for watching a bird feeder from work, it's good enough for me.I wish it had a scheduler so you can set it to not take images during the nighttime hours, but that's a minor issue.Overall, it does the job I hoped it would do, and it does it well. This is Axis' access amount network camera, and it's good enough for me.

In July 2011, I bought two Axis wellbeing cameras for my front and back lobby. They worked well for awhile and then started developing a myriad of issues ranging from lost IP addresses, hazy descriptions and several other mind-boggling problems, one of which I believe has to do with hacking.The company even had to develop a patch to fix the problems, but the fix only lasted for a short time. The only additional IP camera I've owned has been the Axis 206 (both wireless and wired). Both had surprisingly good image quality for their size, even if for the fee one shouldn't be too surprised. Unfortunately, my wired 206 died about a year with I got it, with the warranty had expired. Very disappointing. But Axis is probably the only decent player in this fastidious fee segment ("good routine but barely affordable"), so I went with the M1011 as a replacement.The setup is as easy as the 206's was, and I was satisfied to see they altered the Ethernet jack to point out the back instead of down like the 206's irritating jack. The lens is NOT adjustable (the 206's was), but the focal interval is good as is for my purposes. The image quality is acceptable but noticeably poorer than the 206's. I had heard this but found it hard to judge. Yet, there it is, a grainy, put a stop to-hatched image of my dark driveway. The daylight image is also noticeably grainy, even at the budge JPEG setting. That's disappointing, but I guess not a deal surf as long as the camera is reliable. Finally, the construction quality really isn't as good as the older cams. The mounting pedestal is noticeably flimsier and the case seems lighter and it seems to flex a bit when I plug in the cables. Again, as long as durability is good, this probably doesn't matter much and the compress mount that comes with this camera (in addendum to the pedestal) is a nice figure. The high point is the ease of setup and the variety of protocols the M1011 chains.So overall I'm satisfied. Soothe, I can't give this an unqualified recommendation. I hope Axis will work to improve ALL aspects of routine in their next age group of IP cams.
